  • Ground Transport

    Crates are sanitized after each animal, as well as bowls, leashes, etc. Healthy travel is very important to me. Pets will be inspected at pickup for ticks, fleas, and/or injuries. Any pet found to have pests or deemed unfit (physically or behavioral) for travel will result in a cancellation of transportation and loss of deposit. Proof of vaccination will be required within 48 hours of pickup. Failure to provide records may result in the cancellation of transportation and loss of deposit.

    Solo VIP travel is available upon request, as long as it doesn’t conflict with previously booked clients. Solo VIP travel does require a higher fee.

  • Flight Nanny

    Flight nanny experienced. If you wish to fly your pet in cabin, vaccination records must be provided 72 hours prior to flight. Dogs flown in cargo must have a health certificate no sooner than 10 days before flying. Health certificates older than 10 days will be rejected by the airline. Vaccination records must be received no later than 72 hours before flying. Cargo travel is restricted to a small number of airlines accepting cargo passengers. Please understand that I cannot take requests outside of these airlines. Any cancellation after ticket has been booked will result in the loss of deposit and ticket.

  • Foster/Adopt

    If you would like to apply as a foster or to adopt one of our rescues, please email ridesforpaws@gmail.com for an application.

What to Expect

Please provide the following for travel: harness, collar, and two leashes. Pets will be double leashed when outside of the vehicle. This is to ensure the safety of your pet, especially for more skittish travelers. If you are unable to provide these items, please advise within 48 hours of pickup.

You will need to pack enough food for the duration of the trip, as changes in diet can result in upset tummies. If your pet is on a special diet, please indicate this at booking. Refrigeration is available. Food must be prepared ahead of time and marked with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.

If your pet requires medication, please indicate this at booking. I can accommodate most needs, including refrigerated medication.

Your pet’s carry on is restricted to one SMALL backpack, labeled with their name.


Payment: A 50% deposit is required at booking and can be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, CashApp, or Apple Pay. The remaining balance must be paid at delivery. I also accept payment via Stripe, which offers payment plans for your transportation needs. Please reach out for more information.

Cancellations: Must be made 48 hours prior to pick up to allow for route alterations. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to pick up will result in a loss of deposit.

Damages: If your pet causes irreparable damage to crates or items on board, you will be assessed the cost of replacement. While I have several high anxiety gun dog crates on board, they are not above destruction should you have a particularly challenging pet. This cost is due at delivery and must be paid prior to releasing the pet to its destination.
